Black Order 334: Doused Flame

Issued 331 A.G.

The wayward guard dog is no longer of any use to the Dominion’s plans. When the Mourning Bell Project is concluded and all materials are accounted for Gelai Nola-Kiago and the remaining rangers present in the city are to corner and eliminate Volka Ashcrest.

Have her hung in the street as an Empire spy, it may rile up the people and help push war approval in the coming months when we’ll really need it. Just be careful, I hear she’s a bit rabbid for a lost dog of the Ruby.

Signed,

High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet

Black Order 331: Courser Project

Issued 328 A.G.

By decree of the Levirian Capital Parliament of the Ooden Dominion, the following order is to take effect in the year 328of the Age of Gold under direct order of newly appointed High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet. This order has been confirmed by Ironhand Ozir Geirsson to be in accordance with the Iron Trust Agreement (marking that it is in the best interest of the greater peoples of the Ooden Dominion.)

This order approves the requisition of subjects (approx.20) and materials to test the viability of arcane weapons using Master Engineer Mirdav’s batteries. It is the Master Engineer’s belief that raw arcane power can be stored and used to power numerous types of both arms siege weapons. These new weapons will be invaluable for the long term goals of the parliament and the dominion itself.

It is Tierstern’s belief that not only can these batteries be used to power weapons, but with the study of existing ancient technology it may even be possible to graft these mechanisms to mortal flesh and create magically infused soldiers capable of feats deemed impossible through arcane study.

Master Engineer Mirdav is granted unlimited access to any materials deemed essential to this project’s success, even those currently allocated to other projects. This order takes top priority.

Signed,

High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet

Black Order 333: Rust and Blood

Issued 331 A.G.

By decree of the Levirian Capital Parliament of the Ooden Dominion, the following order is to take effect in the year 331 of the Age of Gold under direct order of newly appointed High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet. This order has been confirmed by Ironhand Ozir Geirsson to be in accordance with the Iron Trust Agreement (marking that it is in the best interest of the greater peoples of the Ooden Dominion.)

This order approved the payment of 2500 gold to Ricos Merriman for information and cooperation in the appropriation of assets belonging to the Rust Ring.

Noir Steele and the one known only Osseus are both to be sent into the Dominion on falsified orders and taken by force for use in orders 321 and 331.

Steele’s armor is their only use and is not needed alive. Kill them or take the armor there is no need for them to be taken themselves.

The one named Osseus should be taken alive if possible, should this prove too difficult to accomplish then a single piece would suffice. They are only needed by Yaket and order 321 is nearing cancellation anyways. Do not waste Dominion resources on a circus act.

High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet

Black Order 332: Black Flame

Issued 330 A.G.

By decree of the Levirian Capital Parliament of the Ooden Dominion, the following order is to take effect in the year 330 of the Age of Gold under direct order of newly appointed High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet. This order has been confirmed by Ironhand Ozir Geirsson to be in accordance with the Iron Trust Agreement (marking that it is in the best interest of the greater peoples of the Ooden Dominion.)

This order is for the approval of contracting the Exiled Firekeeper Volka Ashcrest.

Volka is to be assigned the task of retrieving materials deemed too dangerous for guardsmen or rangers. Anything that may compromise the plausible deniability of direct involvement of the Parliament will be given to the lost Firekeeper. Do keep her at an arm’s length, we don’t want her getting too comfortable in the north and thinking she has a place here.

Pay her whatever she asks and prepare both Odim and Gelai for the inevitable removal of our Hustradi mongrel from the board. She has no place in this game’s ending.

Signed,

High Chancellor Lerash Albiriet
